At B’nai Sholom, we take pride in the friendly, participatory atmosphere of our worship experiences.
Services are usually conducted by Rabbi Cashman along with one of several vocalists. Sometimes accompanying himself with guitar.
B’nai Sholom holds services for:
Shabbat, always on Friday and sometimes on Saturday
Fridays are at 8 PM, except the first Friday of the month is at 6:00 PM, and last 1 hour.
Shabbat mornings are at 10:30 AM, and last for 80 minutes.
Festivals and holidays (Sukkot, Simhat Torah, Hanukkah, Tu Bishevat, Purim, Passover’s final day, and Shavuot)
These usually start at 7:30 PM on weekdays. Please check the calendar, or call to confirm.
Tu Bishevat seder and Purim will start earlier
Days of Awe (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur)
Times for these services are on the tickets, which are required for these holy days.
Our prayer books feature gender-sensitive liturgy. As a Reform synagogue, major pieces of the service are in English, but we have an ample amount of Hebrew, much of it enjoyed through communal singing.
Shabbat and Festival services are open to the public, and we love welcoming visitors.
